Sixers name unchanged side to face Scorchers

The Sydney Sixers have named an unchanged 13-player squad ahead of their clash with the Perth Scorchers in Hobart tomorrow afternoon.

The WBBL|10 ladder remains tighter than ever as clubs turn into the home straight of the competition, with finals still in reach for the currently sixth-placed Sixers.

Two matches remain in the regular season for the Sixers, with the side set to face the Scorchers at Ninja Stadium tomorrow, before heading to Brisbane to meet the Heat at Allan Border Field on Sunday night.

The Sixers were forced to split the points with crosstown rivals Sydney Thunder on Sunday after wayward weather hit Drummoyne Oval, seeing the match abandoned without a result.

Despite the weather, international import Amelia Kerr continued her stellar run this season, collecting 3-16 from her four overs.

First ball of Thursday afternoon’s match in Hobart is scheduled for 3.45pm (AEDT) and will be broadcast live via Channel 7, 7Plus, Foxtel, Kayo and ABC Sport.

Hollie Armitage, Caoimhe Bray, Maitlan Brown, Sarah Bryce, Mathilda Carmichael, Lauren Cheatle, Ash Gardner, Elsa Hunter, Amelia Kerr, Frankie Nicklin, Kate Pelle, Ellyse Perry, Courtney Sippel.
