All Women’s Africa Cup of Nations winners – complete list

One of the biggest international football tournaments is currently underway, with 16 sides contesting the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco.

The tournament was formerly known as the African Women’s Championship from its inception in 1998 until 2014, before it re-branded two years later.

Over the course of its existence, Nigeria have established unprecedented dominance on this stage by winning 10 titles, coming into this edition as the defending champions.

Will a new name be engraved on the 2026 trophy? Or will be an 11th honour for the Super Falcons?
