Successful surgery for Bezzecchi, Silverstone the target for return

After his Q2 crash, Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) returned to Italy on Saturday to undergo surgery to fix his broken collarbone – ruled out of the remainder of the German GP.

On Sunday, Aprilia Racing confirmed that the surgery, performed at the University Hospital of Sassuolo, was a success and that the #72 is on the mend. The team say they hope to see Bezzecchi return to racing at the next GP at Silverstone but that they’ll give a more definitive prognosis soon as his recovery continues.
