Real Madrid Extend Emirates Deal Until 2031 in Record $100M-a-Year Agreement

Real Madrid have renewed their main sponsorship agreement with Emirates until 2031, extending one of the most important commercial deals in European football.

The Spanish club confirmed that the Dubai-based airline will remain its main sponsor in the coming years.

The agreement keeps the Emirates logo on Real Madrid’s shirt and continues a partnership that has already become part of the club’s modern identity.

The new contract could bring Real Madrid close to $100 million per year. If confirmed, that would place the club among the highest earners in world football from a front-of-shirt sponsorship deal.

The partnership between Real Madrid and Emirates began in 2011, when the airline first joined the club as a global sponsor.

Two years later, in 2013, Emirates became the main shirt sponsor. With the new renewal running until 2031, the relationship between the two sides will reach around 20 years.

The deal also shows how strong Real Madrid remain as a global brand. The club continue to attract major international companies, not only because of their sporting history, but also because of their huge worldwide fan base.

Real Madrid are the most successful club in Champions League history, and their shirt remains one of the most valuable spaces in football marketing. For Emirates, staying with the club gives the airline continued visibility across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

Club president Florentino Perez welcomed the renewal, seeing it as another sign of Real Madrid’s commercial power. Emirates also expressed pride in continuing its relationship with the Spanish giants.

The agreement is not only about the men’s first team. Reports in Spain say the renewed partnership will also cover other sections of the club, including the women’s team, the basketball team, and academy categories.

The deal comes at an important time for Real Madrid. Football clubs are looking for more revenue to compete at the highest level, especially with rising transfer fees, salaries, and stadium costs.

The Emirates renewal gives Madrid long-term financial security and keeps them ahead of many European rivals in commercial income.
