London : The England and India women’s cricket teams are gearing up for the third and final match of their three-match One Day International (ODI) series, set to take place on July 22 at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street. With the series currently level at 1-1, both sides are eyeing victory in the decider.
India drew first blood in the opening ODI, securing a thrilling 4-wicket win over the hosts. However, England bounced back strongly in the second ODI, dominating with an 8-wicket win to level the series and set the stage for a nail-biting finale.
According to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the Indian women’s team is on a full tour of England, which includes five T20 Internationals and three ODIs. The T20I series has already concluded, with India clinching it 3-2.
In the ODI series, India is being led by experienced captain Harmanpreet Kaur, while England is being captained by bowling all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt. Both teams are expected to field their best XI in the final match, aiming to end the tour’s 50-over leg on a high note.
