PCB announces national women’s skills camp ahead of Ireland T20I series

LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday announced the schedule for the national women’s team’s skills and fitness camp which is set to take place in Karachi from July 7 to August 2.

A total of 24 women cricketers have been invited to participate in the 27-day camp, which would be held at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre and the Oval Ground.

The camp aimed to enhance players’ technical skills and overall fitness as part of preparations for upcoming international assignments.

In addition to the main camp, a separate training camp for the Ireland tour would begin on July 28. A 15-member squad, selected by the PCB’s women’s selection committee, would take part in this pre-tour camp.

Pakistan women’s team is scheduled to depart for Ireland on August 3 to play a three-match T20 International series. All the matches would be hosted at Clontarf Cricket Ground in Dublin.

The camp is part of PCB’s broader efforts to improve and empower the women’s cricket and ensure thorough preparation ahead of key international tours.
