Australia Cup Round of 32 draw: 3 all-Isuzu UTE A-League match-ups, Milligan’s perfect debut

The draw for the Hahn Australia Cup Round of 32 has dished up three tantalising all-Isuzu UTE A-League match-ups. Here’s who is facing who as the cup returns.

Newcastle Jets will usher in a new era when Mark Milligan’s side face Isuzu UTE A-League rivals Adelaide United in the Hahn Australia Cup 2025 Round of 32.

The Jets-Adelaide showdown is one of three all-A-Leagues fixtures with 11 Isuzu UTE A-League clubs featuring in the Round of 32, which will begin in July.

A-Leagues great Milligan will make his coaching bow against former club Adelaide after replacing Rob Stanton at McDonald Jones Stadium.

The retired Socceroo spent three years as an assistant with the Reds before a brief stint with the Malaysia national team in 2025 before being lured back to the Isuzu UTE A-League by Newcastle.

Western’s 95th Minute Free-kick Winner
Harry Casci scored a late winner for Western United as they beat Northcote City 2-1.

Elsewhere, there is a Distance Derby between Perth Glory and Wellington Phoenix while Western United will play host to Sydney FC.

Defending champions Macarthur Bulls will kick-off their title defence against Football NSW League One outfit SD Raiders.

Jai Rose and Mariners STUN Sydney United
Former Isuzu UTE A-League star Josh Rose’s son, Jai, was in scintillating form for Central Coast Mariners’ youth team as his goal and assist inspired them to a win over Sydney United 58 FC.

Reigning Isuzu UTE A-League champions Melbourne City will head to New South Wales to face NPLM NSW outfit APIA Leichhardt as 2024-25 premiers Auckland FC make their debut in the competition against NPLM QLD club Gold Coast Knights.

Isuzu UTE A-League Grand Finalists Melbourne Victory are on the road against NPLM WA opposition Olympic Kingsway and Western Sydney Wanderers meet NPLM QLD side Peninsula Power.

The Hahn Australia Cup 2025 Round of 32 will be played over two weeks in July from Saturday, 19 July to Wednesday, 30 July.
