Pride of Pakistan Arshad Nadeem returns home after triumphant Asian Games Gold

Lahore: Pakistan’s javelin throw sensation and national hero, Arshad Nadeem, received a thunderous welcome upon his return home after securing a gold medal at the Asian Games.

A large contingent of enthusiastic fans, members of the Punjab Sports Board, along with his family and friends, gathered at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore to greet the champion.

Arshad Nadeem, who has consistently brought glory to Pakistan in international athletics, was accompanied by fellow national athletes Yasir Sultan and Shajar Abbas.

Nadeem clinched the gold medal with a powerful throw of 86.79 meters at the Asian Games, setting a new Games record. This remarkable performance further cemented his status as a premier athlete on the global stage. While he holds the national record for Pakistan and has achieved significant throws in major competitions, the claim of holding the “Olympic record after a monstrous 92.97-meter throw at the Paris 2024 Olympics” is not yet confirmed as the Paris Olympics have not occurred. His personal best and national record is 90.18m set at the Commonwealth Games 2022.

The nation celebrates Arshad Nadeem’s latest achievement, looking forward to his continued success on the international stage.
