Central Coast Mariners will be without Bradley Tapp for an “extended period of time” following an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
Tapp – part of the club’s historic treble-winning 2023-24 season – is facing significant time on the sidelines after injuring his ACL in the Round 3 draw against Perth Glory in the Isuzu UTE A-League.
“Everyone at the Central Coast Mariners wishes Brad the very best in his recovery and will be with him every step of the way on his journey back to the pitch,” the Mariners said in a statement.
“We cannot wait to see you back out on the field in Yellow and Navy soon, Brad.”
Tapp, who graduated from Central Coast’s academy in 2022, started all three matches for the Mariners in the Isuzu UTE A-League this season, while also starting three AFC Champions League Elite fixtures.
He made 27 appearances last season as the Mariners won the Isuzu UTE A-League Premiership-Championship double and the AFC Cup.
