EVIAN-LES-BAINS, France — Lottie Woad became the first player to qualify for LPGA Tour membership via the LPGA Elite Amateur Pathway after finishing in a tie for third on Sunday at The Amundi Evian

Championship and earning the 20th LEAP point she needed to secure status. Take a look back at Woad’s road to the LPGA and how she tallied each of those 20 points.

Woad secured the final two points she needed to qualify for LPGA Tour membership at The Amundi Evian Championship in Evian-les-Bain, France, picking up her 19th point after making the cut and then earning her final point with her T3 finish.

The Florida State University Seminole participated in the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup at Congaree Golf Club in South Carolina as a member of the International Team, helping her squad to victory in the collegiate team event.

Woad made the cut at the 80th U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills, ultimately finishing in a tie for 31st in Wisconsin.

The Mark H. McCormack Medal is one of the most heavily weighted accolades in the LPGA Elite Amateur Pathway. Woad secured the honor last August because of her top position in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, earning a whopping four LEAP points along with the honor.

Woad reached No. 1 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings last June after Ingrid Lindblad turned professional, picking up three more LEAP points for doing so.

2024 Chevron Championship (2)

In what was her very first appearance in a major championship on the LPGA Tour, Woad finished in a tie for 23rd at The Chevron Championship at The Club at Carlton Woods. The event also marked her LPGA debut, and her performance in The Woodlands, Texas, earned her two LEAP points.

Woad became the first European winner of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur in 2024 after making birdies on three of her last four holes at Augusta National Golf Club to beat Bailey Davis by just a single stroke.

Woad’s first LEAP point came from her participation in the 2023 Arnold Palmer Cup as a member of the International Team. The U.S. won this edition of the collegiate team event that was held at Laurel Valley Golf Club in Pennsylvania.
