Sydney FC rising star Indiana Dos Santos has been named January Shark Player of the Month in the Ninja A-League.
The 17-year-old earned the January award after a fan vote, taking a 40% share of the votes to beat a strong field of contenders.
The 10 nominees each month are selected via FotMob’s rating system. The 10 players with the highest FotMob rating (from 0.0 to 10.0) across each voting period are selected as the monthly nominees for the Shark Player of the Month award.
The January eligibility period included Rounds 9-12 of the Ninja A-League season, with games between December 31 and January 21 considered in the FotMob rating system.
Dos Santos received a FotMob rating of 7.66 – the seventh-highest of all players in the Ninja A-League across games in the eligibility period.
