The Sydney Sixers have today confirmed an unchanged 14-player squad to face the Perth Scorchers in The Final.
After a thrilling home win over the Hurricanes yesterday, the Sixers will once again meet the Perth Scorchers in a final in Perth.
Player of the Match Joel Davies spoke post-match yesterday about the confidence the group gained from their performance in The Challenger, even after their loss to the Scorchers earlier in the week.
“When you’ve got Steve Smith and Daniel Hughes walking out there- you feel pretty calm early doors.
“With a total of 198, we knew it should definitely be enough and then to put the performance on like that with the ball – it was awesome.
“I think we analysed it (The Qualifier) a little bit after the game, bowlers did a great job in the first innings and we went out there as if we were trying to chase 200.
“We’ll be better for it.”
