Pakistani Fan Buys 800 Tickets For 1st T20I vs Australia; Plans To Form A Human Flag

On Sunday, November 10, Pakistan beat Australia in the series-decider ODI to win the series for the first time in 22 years. The visitors suffered a defeat in the first match but bounced back to win the last two games. 

The focus has now shifted to the T20Is as Australia will lock horns against Pakistan at the Gabba on November 14. Ahead of the crucial first T20I, a Pakistan fan is making the headlines as has bought 800 tickets by himself for the upcoming match.

Pakistani Fan To Form A Human Flag In 1st T20I

Brisbane-based Pakistani cricket enthusiast, Tariq Naveed is geared up to show a never-seen-before story of support as he has bought the 800 tickets dedicated for a special corner in the stadium for Pakistani fans.

It is worth noting that Naveed plans to form a human flag during the match to show support for Pakistan, who would be eyeing to replicate their ODI success in the shortest format of the match.

“I’ve taken this step to show our support and lift the spirits of our players. These heroes from Pakistan are our guests here in Australia, and we’ll make sure to give them a rousing reception in Brisbane,” Tariq shared.

Mohammad Rizwan Reflects On Famous Win

After the historic win over Australia in the ODIs, Pakistan’s newly appointed captain Mohammad Rizwan reflected on the win. He said:

“This is a special moment for me. We know our nation. They will be very happy. In the last three years, we didn’t perform as their expectations. If you win, it feels great. I just want to be the captain in the presentation and toss. I want everyone to contribute and happy with everyone’s performance.”

The Men in Green would look to replicate their first ODI performance in the upcoming T20Is.
