Olympic champion Mariana Pajón launches “10de10” initiative to support Team Colombia athletes at LA 2028

Two-time BMX racing Olympic gold medallist Mariana Pajón is not only looking to represent the country in the LA 2028 Olympic Games, but she is also seeking to empower athletes representing the country through her new project “10de10”.

The initiative was set up to provide support for athletes from Antioquia who dream of attending LA 2028 through language lessons (learning English), psychological, technical, medical and athletic support; key pillars that will help them prosper at the Games.

Mariana expressed that, in addition to improving their sports performance, her goal with this programme is supporting the social growth of athletes: she wants to promote integrity, discipline, values and passion, aiming for the young athletes to become an inspiration for the Colombian youth.

The programme is initially supporting six athletes, but future support is yet to be announced.
