ICC to open sub-office in Lahore ahead of Champions Trophy

LAHORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) will establish a sub-office in Lahore this month to oversee preparations for the prestigious Champions Trophy.

The sub-office will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations for the tournament which will be hosted by Pakistan. PCB’s Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed Syed has been appointed as the Tournament Director for the Champions Trophy tasked with managing the event’s organisation and execution. Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board is set to hold an important meeting on Saturday to discuss key developments related to the Champions Trophy and other cricketing affairs.
