The AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ is on track for its first sell-out with the initial release of tickets to the Matildas’ highly anticipated clash against IR Iran at Gold Coast Stadium on 5 March almost completely exhausted.
This milestone is the latest sign that the Matildas’ Asian Cup campaign on home soil will be one of the hottest tickets in Australian sport.
Fans are already snapping up seats for Australia’s blockbuster opening match in Perth against the Philippines on 1 March, which will feature the official Opening Ceremony in front of a packed Perth Stadium.
In Sydney, sales are soaring for Australia’s showdown against Korea Republic on 8 March – a clash set to light up Stadium Australia on International Women’s Day, delivering one of the most iconic nights of the tournament.
Tickets for other matches, including the knockouts and showpiece Final, are also selling quickly, with demand surging across all three host cities. From powerhouse showdowns to emerging challengers, the tournament will bring together 12 of Asia’s top nations – Australia, Bangladesh, China PR, Chinese Taipei, DPR Korea, India, IR Iran, Japan, Korea Republic, Philippines, Vietnam and Uzbekistan – with 27 matches of world-class football action across Perth, Gold Coast and Sydney from 1-21 March.
With tickets starting from just $20 for adults and $10 for children, fans are being urged to lock in their seats now to avoid disappointment.
