Federal opposition commits $7.5m towards ‘best football facility’ in Australia

If elected, a Coalition Government will commit $7.5million towards Macarthur Bulls’ “state-of-the-art” Regional Football Facility.

The investment, pledged by an elected Coalition Government led by Peter Dutton ahead of this year’s federal election, will help the project become a reality, with Macarthur chairman Gino Marra saying “this will allow us to have the best football facility in the country”.

Macarthur’s Regional Football Facility will feature state-of the art training areas, modern amenities, and community spaces to support the rapid growth of grassroots and elite football.

“It will be for boys, girls and for the senior teams to develop the very best players in this region, right across the Macarthur region,” said shadow treasurer Angus Taylor.

Macarthur chairman Marra added: “This is really important for us. This allows us to develop children through to the next Socceroos and Matildas.

“This will allow us to have the best football facility in the country.”
