England U-19s skittle Bangladesh for 136 as super six action continues

England’s Under-19 side produced a disciplined bowling display to dismiss Bangladesh for 136 in 38.1 overs during the third Super Six match of Group 2 at the Queens Sports Club on Monday.

After choosing to bat first, Bangladesh struggled to build momentum throughout their innings. Opener Rifat Beg led the scoring with 31 runs, while wicketkeeper Abdullah added 25. Captain Azizul Hakim Tamim chipped in with 20, Shahriar Ahmed scored 18, and Kalam Siddiki Aleen made 10.

Sebastian Morgan starred with the ball for England, claiming three wickets, while Ralphie Albert and Manny Lumsden supported well with two wickets apiece.

Meanwhile, in the fourth Super Six match of Group 1 at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek, Afghanistan reached 154 for 6 in 44 overs against Sri Lanka. After winning the toss, Sri Lanka elected to field. Osman Sadat top-scored for Afghanistan with 61, supported by Azizullah Miakhil’s 43. Viran Chamuditha was the pick of the Sri Lankan bowlers, taking two wickets for 20 runs in his 10 overs.
