Ethan Katzberg, Camryn Rogers, Marco Arop and Pierce LePage have been confirmed on Canada’s team for the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25 and will defend their titles at the event taking place from 13-21 September.
The 59-strong team includes 12 World Athletics Championships medallists, 11 Olympic medallists and 22 athletes making their World Championships debuts.
Katzberg and Rogers, who went on to win Olympic gold in Paris after their World Championships victories in Budapest, will defend their hammer titles.
Arop defends his 800m title and LePage his decathlon crown.
Tokyo Olympic champion Damian Warner joins LePage in the decathlon, while two-time world indoor champion Sarah Mitton, who secured world silver in Budapest, contests the shot put. Andre De Grasse, who won Olympic 200m gold in Tokyo, is entered for the 100m, 200m and 4x100m.
