Canberra United have added depth to their attacking line-up ahead of the Ninja A-League 2025-26 season, signing forward Kiara De Domizio from Western United.
The 24-year-old spent two seasons in Green and Black but has now moved north to the Nation’s capital following the announcement Western United’s Club Participation Agreement (CPA) has been placed in conditional hibernation for the upcoming campaign.

Known as the ‘Clutch Queen’ during her time in Victoria after a series of impressive contributions off the bench, De Domizio arrives at McKellar Park having bagged two goals and two assists last season in just 391 minutes.
“We welcome Kiara to Canberra United,” said Canberra United head coach Antoni Jagarinec.
“Kiara has exactly the kind of profile that we are looking for at the club being a young, dynamic, and hungry footballer.
“We know all about her abilities as a player having seen it at first-hand in the competition over the past two seasons whilst she was with Western United, so know exactly what to expect from her.

He added: “She brings excellent energy and positivity in her position and will be a terrific addition to the squad as we seek to build more depth and quality ahead of the new season.”
De Domizio will now join a potent attack which already includes the likes of Ninja A-League legend Michelle Heyman and recent signing, American striker Emma Hawkins.
“I’m really excited about the opportunity to move to Canberra and join what is already a very strong Canberra United squad,” said De Domizio.
“Having played against them a few times, I’ve always admired their style of play and strong work ethic.
“Also, to now have the chance to experience the incredible support from the home fans at McKellar Park is going to be something special.
She concluded: “I am grateful for the opportunity to continue growing my career at such a great club, and I’m looking forward to working under Ant and contribute to what I believe will be a very successful season.”
De Domizio is now set to make her Canberra United debut in Round 1 of the new Ninja A-League season when Jagarinec’s side host Newcastle Jets at McKellar Park on Sunday, November 2.
