Brisbane Roar have signed talented Olyroos defender Hosine Bility on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee, the Isuzu UTE A-League club confirmed.
Bility has penned a two-year deal with the Roar from Portuguese outfit CD Mafra, having started in Brisbane on loan last season.
The 24-year-old – who had two stints at FC Midtjylland in Denmark and Fram Reykjavík in Iceland prior to linking up with the Roar – made 24 appearances in 2024-25.
“I am excited to return to the Roar for the next two seasons and can’t wait to pull on the shirt once again,” Bility said.
“It was a privilege last year to represent the fans, and this year will be different. I’m driven to work harder than ever before ahead of the season to ensure we are playing finals football this season.”
Bility is the third player to sign a permanent Roar deal in the off-season, after recruits Milorad Stajic and James McGarry (Aberdeen), while Keegan Jelacic (end of loan), Florin Berenguer, Louis Zabala, Adam Zimarino, Corey Brown and Rafael Struick have departed Suncorp Stadium.
Roar head coach Michael Valkanis added: “The signing of Hosine is a great moment for the club.
“I am confident that Hosine will continue to grow into a dominant defender for the club and play a key role for the team this season.
“Most importantly, I have no doubt that Hosine’s hard work ahead of the new campaign will allow him to represent the fans with pride.”
