Birmingham Phoenix beat Northern Supercharges in Hundred League

Birmingham Phoenix on Wednesday  beat Northern Superchargers by 10 wickets in The Hundred League.

In the 19th match of the event played in Birmingham, Phoenix chased down the target of 84 runs in 39 balls without any loss.

For Phoenix, Ben Duckett scored 43 runs and captain Moeen Ali remained unbeaten with 37 runs.

Earlier, Northern Superchargers, opting to bat first after winning the toss, were all out for 83 runs.

From the Superchargers, captain Harry Brook was the top scorer with 15 runs, followed by Nicholas Pooran with 11, Ollie Robinson with 11, Adam Hose with 11, Adil Rashid with 9, Matthew Potts with 7, Jordan Clark with 7, Mitchell Santner with 6, Matthew Short with 4 and Ben Stokes who was out without scoring.

Reece Topley remained not out with 1 run.

For Phoenix, Adam Milne and Tim Southee took 3 wickets each while Chris Wood took two wickets and Benny Howell took one wicket.
